Originally, I created this piece as part of a series titled City Girls, with this specific artwork called Milan. When an up-and-coming band, Cheap Monarchy, discovered it, they felt it perfectly captured the vision for their album cover. To make it cohesive with their brand, I collaborated with them to refine the piece into a final album cover. Beyond the cover, I contributed to their brand identity by designing a visual language that extended to their website, merchandise, posters, and social media assets, and provided creative direction for potential music videos.
